Lawyers for a woman who was jailed in canton Fribourg in 2018 for the murder of her partner’s 2-year-old daughter claims she’s the victim of a miscarriage of justice.
The calls for a review come after the girl’s father has now been jailed himself after claims of sexual abuse of five women, two were underage at the time of the offence.
They described the man as brutal and impulsive.
The jailed woman has always maintained her innocence. Her lawyers say there were doubts at the time of the trial and are demanding a review.
