Geneva trams were severely disrupted yesterday afternoon as the bomb squad had to deal with an abandoned suitcase on the rue de la Confédération.
The intersection was closed while it was checked. The case was found to be safe, but trams and buses were disrupted for about an hour from 5pm.
The main tram lines hit were 12 and 17 in the height of the afternoon rush hour.
