Big changes to train times next month

Oh look. A train.

The new 2025 train timetable comes into force on the 15th December.

Swiss Federal Railways say the biggest changes will be in French speaking regions.

More intercity trains will terminate in Lausanne, but more trains will stop at Renens in Vaud and from there you can catch regular trains to Geneva, including the airport.

There will also be more trains running from Geneva to Valais.

Local trains will also be affected with new times for services in Geneva, Neuchâtel, Fribourg and Vaud.

Regular travellers are urged to check the new times.
