A bad battery is being blamed for a fire in a bike shop in canton Neuchâtel.
The owner says he was first alerted by the alarm, which told him there’d been a break-in.
When he arrived the shop in Saint-Blaise was ablaze – it’s thought nearly half a million francs of bikes were damaged.
An investigation is underway.
