Bar owners now back vaccine pass

In a change of mood, bars and restaurant owners are now backing the vaccine passport.

Despite early resistance, especially from trade associations, a survey by the SonntagsZeitung newspaper shows owners are now seeing the advantage of not having to restrict the number of people inside and can ditch mask wearing rules.

More importantly, larger events can now be catered for – such as weddings and family celebrations.

As more and more are now getting vaccinated – the number of possible customers will only increase, say the owners.
