The Geneva bomb squad was called out yesterday morning to check a bag left at the post office on the rue du Mont Blanc.
The bag was found to be harmless, but the roads around the building were closed from around 10am for about a hour.
Police remain on high alert after a man was seriously injured by an explosive device in Geneva last week. Investigations into that incident remain ongoing.
