More than half of employers are now willing to pay a wage premium for staff with artificial intelligence skills, according to a new Manpower survey.
The recruitment agency found 56% would offer higher pay for AI expertise, rising to 66% at companies with more than 250 employees.
Critical thinking and problem-solving remain highly valued alongside those technical skills.
Manpower Switzerland's head Eric Jeannerod says the future belongs to a combination of technology and human capability, not to AI alone.
