A feasibility study has been proposed for a panoramic cable car between Adelboden-Lenk in the Bernese Oberland and Crans-Montana in Canton Valais.
The project has already been contested by the Swiss Foundation for Landscape Protection.
“Cradle”, the association behind the proposal, is made up of the municipalities of Adelboden, Lenk, the Association of Municipalities of Crans-Montana, the ski lifts across all regions, as well as Crans-Montana Tourism. They say it would allow visitors “to live an extraordinary experience in a spectacular mountainous landscape”
