Interpol have launched a new investigation into a 25-year-old cold case in Spain.
In 1999, a woman was found dead in a hotel room. She’d checked in with a man earlier – due to an oversight, their documents had not been checked.
Police believe there may be a link with Geneva and Australia. The couple spoke French and English.
The man was spotted on surveillance cameras at another Spanish hotel exchanging Swiss francs.
Police say, at the time, he was between 25 and 30 years old and around 170 cm tall.
