WRS's Steve Priestley is joined by Madame Geneviève Sommer, director of the CelloArte festival. We talk about how she and her husband founded the festival back in 1998, and how it has grown into a much-loved celebration of chamber music.
This year marks the 28th edition between 17th and 19th April set in the beautiful surroundings of L'Orangerie at the Château de Voltaire in Ferney-Voltaire.
Geneviève shares the story behind the festival, gives us a glimpse of some of the outstanding artists on this year’s programme, and tells us what audiences can look forward to across two evenings of music.
