Michael McKay's guest is Stephen Timms MP. He is one of 10 new Trade Envoys announced recently by the UK Government. His focus is Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
He is also the Labour MP for East Ham, in London. He entered Parliament in 1994 and held posts in the administration of Tony Bair, where he was Chief Secretary to the Treasury, effectively No. 2 to the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
