Zurich will jab anyone

Canton Zurich has opened up its vaccination programme to anyone living in Switzerland.

So called vaccine tourism is controversial, other cantons are very strict they won’t jab anyone outside their territory.

The Zurich health department says they can make the offer as they’ve been promised a larger delivery. They say they’re doing it as it’s important to get everyone vaccinated as quickly as possible.

Zurich is now taking appointments from anyone over 16 – anywhere in the country.

Before booking an appointment outside your canton, it’s worth checking if your home canton can vaccinate you faster.
