A young woman was seriously injured after a selfie experiment went wrong and two had to be rescued by helicopter.
The two friends were in Leysin in canton Vaud and on top of the Berneuse mountain. One wanted a dramatic selfie and then fell 20 meters. Her friend went down to try to help – but also got trapped.
The two needed a helicopter to help them out. Rescuers say there was a high avalanche risk.
Both were treated in hospital. Doctors say the woman who fell suffered serious injuries.
