Is the positive message of the vaccines finally breaking through? There’s been a surge of people getting the jab after a slowdown.

On Tuesday, the last day numbers were available – 10,000 received a first dose. Up a 1,000 on a week before. The seven-day rolling average is creeping up.

But after a strong start, Switzerland is lagging now against its international neighbours.

In Austria, 60% have had at least one dose, in Germany 63%, in Italy 67% - and France is now really pushing ahead and stands at 68%.

Here, the number is 55.7%.
