Unemployment in Switzerland rose slightly in October.
The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, Seco, reports that 135,212 people were registered as unemployed - nearly two thousand more than in September.
Seco says the rise is mainly seasonal, with only a modest increase once adjusted for the time of year.
The number of jobseekers climbed to almost 220,000, pushing the rate up to 4.7 percent.
Meanwhile, vacancies reported to regional job centres dropped sharply - down more than six percent to around 35,000.
