Train travel between Geneva and Lausanne remains problematic today.
On Sunday evening a firework thrown from a football supporters train at Lausanne set high power cables on fire. They all need to be replaced.
The damage means the cancellation of many Inter-City services as well as the TGV.
Replacement buses, which ran yesterday, will still be used today. Swiss Federal Railways say only two trains an hour will be able to run.
