The final stage of the Tour de Romandie was held in the middle of Geneva yesterday.

The last stage was a time trial through the Old Town.

Ahead of the race, many were concerned a mix of rain and cobblestones would be a dangerous mixture for the riders, but in the end, it didn’t rain.

The number of spectators lining the route were lower than expected – although still enthusiastic.

The Belgum rider, Remco Evenepoel, won yesterday’s time trial – but the overcall winner was Joao Almeida from Portugal, riding for the UAE Emirates XRG team.
