Switzerland is sending emergency aid to Turkey and Syria in the wake of the two massive earthquakes and several smaller aftershocks have destroyed vast areas.
The government has expressed its condolences to the two countries.
The first teams, made up of more than 100 people and 14 search and rescue dogs, have already landed in Turkey.
The planes are also carrying 18 tonnes of emergency aid.
It’s currently being estimated that around 4,500 people have been killed and tens of thousands homeless in extremely cold weather.
