Solothurn woman found guilty of killing daughters

A 41-year-old woman was sentenced to 16 years in prison on Friday for killing her two daughters, aged 7 and 8, with a knife in January 2021.

The crimes took place in Gerlafingen, in Canton Solothurn.

The father had filed for divorce shortly before the incident and they had been living apart for several months.
