The city of Sion has decided they don’t want to continue with their electric scooter network.
After a one year trial phase with 50 scooters and 15 Velospot stations in the city centre, they’ve decided not to extend the experiment.
Although the trial has seen a positive response, it doesn’t seem to have generated enough of a shift in preferred mobility and transport, that warrants any further investment.
The Vice-President of the City Council, Christian Bitschnau explained to the press that it hadn’t gone badly, but it just hadn’t gone well enough.
