Sion shooting leaves two dead and one injured

Police are actively looking for a Mr Sebastien Robin who is 36 years old. He is likely to be driving a grey Peugeot 206 with Valais license plates.

The cantonal police specify that this person is dangerous and that under no circumstances should any member of the public attempt to approach him or question him themselves.

Anyone who can provide information is asked to contact the Valais cantonal police engagement centre at 027 326 56 56.

The shooting took place this morning shortly before 8am in two separate locations in Sion in Canton Valais. The local news outlet La Nouvelliste reports that the victims include one man and one woman and that they were known to the gunman.

The Public Prosecutor's Office has opened a murder investigation.
