Sex is down - and we're fine with it

We’re all having less sex, and we don’t care.

That’s the result of a global survey and Switzerland is no exception.

Here, people were asked their sexual desire on a scale of 1 to 10. In 2021 it stood at 6.9. Now it’s 5.9.

It’s a result that’s reflected in many other countries.

One possible reason is the availability of online porn and that’s it’s easier - and more private – to buy toys over the internet.

The new attitude could be influencing the birth rate, which is down in many countries. The current rate in Switzerland is 1.4 children per woman. The rate needs to be 2.1 to maintain the population.
