Police say they’ve solved a series of burglaries targeting farms and self-service shops across eight cantons.
Investigators from Bern Cantonal Police say three suspects have confessed to carrying out forty-two thefts between March and October last year.
The group mainly forced open milk vending machines and farm shop tills to steal cash.
While the haul totalled around CHF 10,000 the damage caused exceeded one CHF 115,000.
The case has now been handed to prosecutors, including the juvenile authorities.
