A section of the A1 autoroute was closed for hours yesterday after a woman climbed the barriers of a bridge over the main road near Winterthur.
Zurich cantonal police say there was a danger to her and other road users.
Negotiations took four hours before the woman could be rescued.
Police say she’s now receiving professional care.
