Protestors start to organise for G7 meeting

G7 meeting from 2025

A resistance movement is mobilising in Geneva ahead of the G7 Summit in nearby Evian, in the middle of June.

The No-G7 coalition is planning a large demonstration on June 14, bringing together around 40 organisations and political groups.

Organisers say they want the protest to be peaceful and are calling on cantonal authorities to help guarantee safety.

The coalition says it is opposing what it calls the values represented by the G7 leaders.

Police have not yet detailed security measures for the weekend.
