French police were called to the Lycée International in Ferney-Voltaire when an end of year party descended into chaos last Friday.
Police say fireworks were directed at them. They responded with tear gas.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested. He was chased by police and then pinned down and threatened with a taser by them.
Witnesses say the police overreacted and innocent students were injured by the tear gas.
