The City of Genva has given the green light to new lake swimming areas next to the Jet d’Eau.
Pontoons will be set up near the fountain, based on the designs already in use in German speaking regions – such as the Zurich ‘badi’.
There’ll be two pools – 27 meters long and 10 meters wide. One will be shallower for children.
It’ll cost CHF 2.2m and will be open from July.
Entrance will be CHF 2.
