There are plans for a new Park and Ride car park close to the airport.

There’ll be space for 670 cars on six levels. The carpark will be linked by the new tram which will run from Nations to Ferney-Voltaire – and accessible directly from the autoroute.

It will be on the site that’s currently the P47 parking for the airport.

The Geneva Council of State has put forward a bill to the Grand Council for the financing of the car park, estimated at nearly CHF 48m.

But in the form of a loan to the Foundation des Parkings.
