A new movement launched in French-speaking Switzerland is urging families to delay children's access to screens and smartphones.
The network, unveiled in Geneva, is asking parents to keep children under four completely screen-free and to avoid giving smartphones to under-15s.
Supporters say excessive screen use is becoming a public health concern, citing links to developmental and communication difficulties in young children.
The group is also calling for legislation to restrict smartphone sales to minors and reduce the use of tablets in schools.
