A close friend of the Russian dissident Alexei Navalny has been attacked by men throwing eggs and yogurt in Geneva.
Ivan Zhdanov is touring Europe with a mock up of the cell Navalny is spending his time in in Russia.
Over the weekend, Zhdanov was attacked twice.
It’s believed people hired by a pro-Putin network with links to the Kremlin carried out the assault.
The police were called both times, but were unable to find the attackers.
The replica of the cell can be seen on the Place des Nations.
