Man killed by suspoected illegal road racers

There’s growing anger following the death of a 30 year old motorcyclist over the weekend.

Prosecutors say the victim had stopped at a red light  when hit by one of two cars speeding along the rue de Malagnou - it’s been suggested the car drivers were illegally racing. Both drivers have been arrested.

The crash was in the early hours of Sunday morning. The dead man was a popular local martial arts expert and worked part time at the Pickwick Pub in Geneva. The pub will be closed on Monday in his memory.
