Looking for something to do this weekend – and want to make a difference?
You could help clean up the only river that’s entirely in canton Geneva – the Seymaz.
It’s being organised by local groups in the Communes that border the river. They’ve been in contact with the cantonal authorities to make sure that the important flora and fauna will be protected and this has to be done now, before birds start to nest.
If you’re interested, then simply meet in front of 32 Route de Chevrier in Choulex at 8.30 on Saturday morning.
Dress warmly, bring hot drinks, garbage bags and saws.
