Lausanne police hunt racist attackers

Lausanne police are investigating a video which has gone viral that shows an attack on a 22-year-old black man by ten others while being racially insulted.

Police did intervene at the time, but the attackers fled.

The security team outside a bar on the Place de l’Europe are also being criticised as the video shows them standing by impassively.

Lausanne police are asking for witnesses to the attack.

A local councillor in charge off the city’s security, Pierre-Antoine Hildbrand, says the video is ‘shocking and unacceptable’.
