Lake festival kicks off this week

This week is Ascension Week and there’s a variety of activities and shows on around the lake.

The festival Feu Ô Lac kicks off on Thursday.

There’s live music on a large stage at the Baby Plage, comedy and DJ sets near the Jet d’Eau.

On Saturday afternoon the Mont -Blanc Bridge will be closed for a roller skate party.

Right along the lake there’s plenty more things to do – ad hoc concerts, street artists and even try out different types of bicycles.

Food trucks and bars will line the lakeside from Thursday to Sunday.

But the highlight will be the biggest drone show in Europe. More than 1,300 drones will light up the sky on three nights from Thursday.

The drones will take off at 10.00pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
