About sixty residents of La Chaux-de-Fonds will spend the month of June without their cars, in a second edition of the city's mobility challenge.
In exchange, the city is offering each participant either a public transport pass or an electric bike subscription.
Participants will keep a journal of how they get around.
Neighbouring canton Neuchâtel will start heavily subsidising public transport passes for young people next month.
