The Green Party leader Lisa Mazzone is now attaching specific anti-overheating regulations and air-conditioned hospitals to her party's continuing campaign against Environment Minister Albert Rösti.
In an interview with 24 heures, she urged federal councillors to interrupt their summer holidays to respond to the heat crisis, and unveiled campaign posters styled on the Confederation's own Covid-prevention notices.
The Greens have already called for Rösti to lose the environment brief and the new demands sharpen that argument with concrete policies.
