The body of a young girl who went missing after falling into the Reuss River while on a dinghy trip at the beginning of the month with her family has been found.
The father says the boat was sucked under the water when it struck a log. He, his wife and their two sons aged 10 and 12 were able to save themselves – but the 7-year-old girl was dragged downstream.
He says it all happened in a few seconds.
The accident happened near Mülligen in canton Aargau on September 5th, the body was found 5 km downstream at Windisch at the weekend, say the police.
