Geneva public service unions have agreed to a day of action to protect working conditions.
The canton still hasn’t passed a budget for next year – unions say the one proposed will cost jobs.
But if the budget isn’t passed, then this year’s one will have to be used – which unions say will have the same effect.
An open-air meeting outside the Hotel de Ville only attracted around 60, but members say there will be a strike on December 9th with a march through the city centre.
