A Federal Study has determined that the minimum wage in Geneva has had no significant effect on the employment rate.

Voters rejected a national minimum wage in 2014, convinced by the arguments that it would push up unemployment.
The study by the Department of Economic Affairs does show there could be a small impact on males under 25 – but researchers say that may be down to more seeking work as the pay is more attractive. There seems to be no effect on women.
