Geneva baseball teams turfed out for football

The only two Geneva baseball teams – the Tigers and the Dragons - are upset they will have to leave their playing fields in Vessy.

The site is going to be taken over by Servette FC as a training ground. 

The City of Geneva says demand for land for sport is overwhelming – and it’s trying to find a solution with other communes in the canton. 

But now the baseball teams, which have been active in Geneva since 1960, are homeless.
