Your favourite Christmas tunes will soon fill the air on Geneva’s terraces.
The city is allowing background music on outdoor restaurant spaces on Saturdays, December 6th, 13th, and 20th.
The goal: to bring extra life to the city center during the Advent season.
Only soft background music - up to 75 decibels - will be allowed.
The initiative, inspired by a successful trial in Lausanne, was welcomed by restaurant owners, who say it will boost business and create a warm, festive atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
