Geneva Airport makes first ever loss

Geneva Airport has reported its first loss in its history – due to the collapse in demand.

It’s CHF 130m in the red for 2020. The year before it made a profit of CHF 84m.

The airport has cut its investment plans and brought in cost saving measures which has saved it CHF 68m.

It also made use of the federal support for working hours and claimed CHF 21m.
