The check in section of Geneva airport was closed for an hour yesterday afternoon due to an unattended bag.
Police say the bag had to be checked by a specialized team before the area could be reopened. The bag turned out to be safe.
The section was closed at 1pm while a black suitcase was examined.
The increased traffic at the airport is leading to more alerts. On Friday police had to deal with two at the same time at the airport train station.
