An amateur football club in France has had enough of its own fans.
US Culoz, which plays in the Ain department‘s second division, will now hold all its home games behind closed doors.
The move comes after a violent incident last Sunday, when a group of teenage supporters attacked an opposing coach and even one of their own officials, leaving him with serious injuries.
The club admits it’ll lose bar revenue, but says it’s still cheaper than paying fines for repeated trouble in the stands by its own fans.
