Florists report higher funeral sales

Switzerland is emerging as one of the countries hardest hit by the June heatwave.

The country set a new June temperature record, while florists report increased funeral orders as deaths among older people rise.

Across Europe, the heat is linked to thousands of excess deaths, and scientists say the event would have been virtually impossible without climate change.

Switzerland is also still under pressure to act after last year's European human rights court ruling on climate protection.
