Cars to be banned from Cornavin

Cars will be banned from the roads around Cornavin Station from the spring.

It’s been known since 2021 that this day will come.

Cars will not be allowed on the Place de Montbrillant, nor the Place Cornavin and the road leading to Chantpoulet will be closed. Access to the car park will stay.

The closures are due to the start of the work for extending the train station. That’s due to end in 2027, at the earliest.
