Geneva is allowing bars and restaurants to stay open through the night this Saturday so fans can watch the World Cup quarter-final against Argentina.
Many other cantons are also making similar exemptions.
The match kicks off at 3 a.m. on Sunday, and licensed venues will be allowed to show it indoors under a special exemption.
But, outdoor terraces must close as usual to avoid disturbing nearby residents, and businesses must still comply with labour laws covering staff working hours.
