Several activists interrupted UBS boss Sergio Ermotti during a public discussion in Zurich last night.
The 65-year-old CEO was speaking about apprenticeships and the role of the private sector in promoting young talent.
But the discussion was cut short when protesters stormed forward, one climbing on stage with a “Tax the Rich” banner.
Security quickly removed the group. The action was claimed by the climate movement “Drop Fossil Subsidies,” which targets banks and companies it accuses of fueling the climate crisis.
Despite the disruption, the event continued.
