Michael McKay's guest is Vicky Pryce. She is Chief Economic Adviser and board member at the Centre for Economics and Business Research, which is a leading, independent economic consultancy based in the UK, and visiting professor at King’s College London and Birmingham City University.
She was a high-flyer in Britain’s civil service, becoming the first woman to be appointed to the post of Director-General in the British Government’s Business Department and Joint-Head of the UK Government’s Economic Service.
