Fennel Gratin with Cottage Cheese


  • 0.25 bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • a little pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 50 g pitted black olives
  • 50 g grated Gruyère
  • 4 fennel
  • tsp. saltwater, siedend
  • 200 g cottage cheese nature
  • 150 g diced ham

Quarter the fennel lengthways. Cover and simmer in a little salted water over a medium heat for around 25 mins. Remove and divide into a greased, oven-proof dish (approx. 2 litres).

Slice the olives into rings, finely chop the parsley, mix the cottage cheese, ham, salt and pepper in a bowl and arrange on top of the fennel. Scatter with Gruyère. Gratinate for approx. 10 mins. in the top half of an oven preheated to 240°C.
